Is Lukes fund still going?

I'm new to the forum but I have a close friend who lost both of his legs in an accident, so Lukes story has really hit home for me. I don't have the money for postage at the moment but when I do Id really like to send some bits and peices if the roundup is still going?

Sorry to hear about your friend - hope he is managing to cope as well as can be expected.

YES, Luke's fund is still open and will hopefully remain so until around the middle/end of April 2010 so all donations no matter how big or small are very welcome.

and all involved in Lukes fund, its been a while since i have been on the forums and have only just seen the details about Lukes accident.

I personally have not met Luke, but the support that has been given through the forums is Fantastic.

So here is our offer,

I know you are going about setting up some vivariums for auction and you will be kitting them out for specific species.

I am happy to provide all required heat mats, thermostats plants etc, basically anything required to complete the vivariums.

Whoic Knows my contact details, whatever is needed drop me a PM or E-mail and i'll provide it.

Yes, there will be a thread started giving people the directions to the relevant auction site that it will be listed on OR if it's done on here, info will be given on how you can place your bid.

Thanks for that. Auction will probably be held towards the end of April ( ish ) so no immediate rush.

I initially started this thread with the intention of getting enough kit together to auction off 1 viv with set-up for Luke but they way it's going, I reckon there's scope for more.

Great to see alot of people chipping in!!!

I am willing to contribute and thought that a £20 Voucher to use on my site may come in handy.

The winning bidder may then use the voucher towards food or any other items they wish. We could set up a password that you can pass on to the said person. They can then email me with the password and the items they wish to order.
