Single stack - £500
Both stacks - £900 CHEAP!
£56.25 a viv! ( But Banks do work out a lot cheaper ) If they are poor quality

Iv had something like this and not neare that price But as you say you are open to offers !! How much !!! Wouldn't be near the price unless it is the same quality

Not like none of your cheap shop vivs! will last a lifetime!
But a lot of them are built by tradesmen aswell as yours !!...
More like dull wollas in their shed that want to make a quick proffit

Delivery can be arranged for extra cost.
(How will this be worked out)
Depends how far
Can you please now tell me how it is held together IE..Screw / Plastic Blocks / Biscuite joint or what.....Biscuits, glue and Screws
Is it sealed if so what with.....Silicon, not yet done ( 30 mins work )
What is the back made from....18 mm Moisture laminated MDF, same as the rest.
What is the thickness of the back and the rest of the mdf Says above
Four foot high I asume that is from the bottom of the viv's not the ground four foot high just vivs.
Do you do any other than white........And at what cost.... Not making another, was purpose built for my son.
What type of lock is it.... Standard glass sliding door lock and seperate keys.

This may seem a bit neg but its not ment to be

Material cost

4 sheets of 10 x 4ft Laminated 18mm moisture resistant MDF £60 a sheet, trade price = £240
6mm toughened polish glass doors = £227
Tracks , ebay, = £50
Air vents, ebay = £20
Casters, ebay = £30
Locks, trade = £45
Glue, screws, etc. = £10
Total = £622
Labour, 2 1/2 days tradesman = £350

Overall total = £972!

There is no way you could buy a viv for less than £622 even if you done it yourself for this quality as i have trade prices on materials. if you say you can get them cheaper i can gaurantee it is not the same product.

Sorry mate, have to disagree on a few things you have said.
A lot of your comments seem to be very "against" other viv builders just because your dad made this one.
I know you're selling it so you have to make it sound like it's the best of the best but don't be so hasty to knock other people's work.

Those stacks would be far cheaper from myself for instance, built to the highest standard and in a range of over 30 different woodgrain colours, therefore looking a lot more attractive than plain board.

I am far from, erm, what did you call them....? oh yes - " dull wollas in their shed that want to make a quick proffit " -
ha ha, that made me chuckle but to be fair, most of the viv builders on here, including myself are ligitimate, registered businesses who make a living from doing custom vivs.

Finally, if you can't get your materials at trade prices for less than £622 to be able to build these, then you are going to the wrong suppliers.
£60 a sheet for the MDF is scandalous and I wouldn't even consider paying half that.
Oh, and Ebay sales don't exactly class as "trade" - trade prices are far less and don't tend to have postage costs added to them.

Anyway, this wasn't supposed to be a personal attack against you, your dad or your viv stack - I just thought I'd take the opportunity to defend myself as a viv builder as you saw it fit to slag us all off in general.

The stack does look very nice but there are a few things that I would have done differently to make it look nicer.

Good luck with the sale, I'm sure I won't be the only one watching to see how well it does.

Best regards,
Volly
