Default Where do you get your glass track/vents etc?

Having just built a couple more vivs (got the bug now) i thought it'd be a nice idea to share where i get my glass track from

Im sure there are loads of people who can supply glass track, glass, door pulls, vents etc so if you have a suggestion stick it on here

I get my track from Lotus Nut and its always intact on delivery, glassi get from a local glazier/mirror maker who's just supllied me 4x 740x332mm AND 4x 442x332mm for £57 which isn't bad at all considering some of the quotes i got!

Default The new vivs

Figured i'd better post o few pics of the new vivs so here goes....

18mm mdf throughout with 4mm polished glass door and 70mm vents.

The ends were glued and clamped to the back, when the glue set this section was glued to the base and clamped, followed byt the shelf then the top. The front pieces were then glued and clamped.

When everything was set and square the whole thing was drilled with tiny pilot holes and screwed up with over 100 40mm mdf/furniture screws. These vivs are SOLID AS, i can stand on them and the don't make a sound!

The outside was painted with 3 coats of satin white emulsion, the inside with 3 coats of clear varnish, all internal joins were then silicone sealed.

Including glass and sundries this pair of vivs cost UNDER £160 to build!

BIG thank you to my old chap who used to be a chippy and proved invaluable to the build
