Any Heat mat disasters?

hey i was just wondering if ne of you have ever had a heat mat malfunction n burn or nething? its jst cos i come home from uni the odd weekend and worry about it being on aaallll the time n no1 being up ther jst incase.... Cheers!

The worst I have had is when they just stop working.No dramas,no fires, nothing. Shows how safe they are.And thats in the last 20 odd years.Before that we had to rub two snakes together to keep them warm.Posh folks used lightbulbs.You young un's have never had it so good.We never even had livefood unless you count maggots from the fishing tackle shop.I'm going now before I turn into my dad.Harry
