Which stat?

Ok im struggling to find an answer on this so hope you can help. Im getting a baby sand boa and will be keeping her in a RUB to start with and using a heat mat on a stat.

So..... do i use a habistat DIMMING day/ night and have the night part on a timer?

Or ... do i use a habistat PULSE day/ night stat with the night part on a timer?

Will either stat work with heat mats? and what wattage would the heat matt need to be?
I was planning on a 10 gallon rub to start, possibly smaller as she is only 6/7" at the moment but she will,, when adult, go into a wooden vivarium so dont want to be re buying a stat to go with that (was going to install ceramic only in the viv when she is adult!)

you need a mat stat mate,,you can also use a mircoclimate as they do heat mats as well(i think)

its mat stats for heat mats.......dimming and pulse are used with heat bulbs/ceramic bulbs..... hope this helps

sorry i dont know much about the temp requirements of sand boas but do you need a night time drop also pulse stats do work on heat mats so if your going to use a ceramic at some point thats the way to go.
