mate... i really think you should get some help from someone... you sound (once again) totally out of your depth on this build...

STICK ON LIGHT (what the)??????... many species would pull/push/work it loose... then you could possibly have an electricuted animal on your hands...

and a fire more than likely.
why not just buy a normal light that you have to screw to the viv?
like everything in life,if you cut corners trying to do things by making shortcuts, it will come back to bite you in the ass and end up costing more money.what happens if your snake knocks the light down and then poos in the viv, some snakes poo is really watery, what happens next?you guessed it an electricuted snake, and as the 240 volts are going through your snakes body, its going to set on fire more than likely, and then if your out at the time, you will walk down the road to a shell of ashes where your house used to be,all because you didnt want to screw the light up on the viv.think about it mate,in this hobby you cant cut corner, animals lives are at risk if you do

Well it's wierd how i've built it without no help, don't under estimate me, also how the F*** wud a leopord gecko climb to the top of a viv and get to the light as i don't have anything in the viv that even reach half of the tanks height, if your gnna be such a N** then don't F*****G leave a post.

i dont care what animal is going in there... i'm thinking of the animals safety ONLY... do NOT under estimate ANY animal... EXAMPLE, a 6" corn "shouldnt" be able to get out of an 18" tall fish tank (with a lid on) but many do...

now, go back to school, and learn how to do things PROPERLY...
