Default rack vents

Hi.

I am in the process of building a rack and was wondering if I need to put vents on the front of the 42l boxes I will be using.

Cheers
John

most people just drill holes in or use a soldering iron to burn them in.

If its Polypropylene (look for a recyleable logo on the plastic, if it has a 5 in the middle with PP at the bottom then its Polypropylene) then you can get nice vents with a soldering iron, you can then pick off the extruded plastic that form around the holes and you have nice clean holes, drilling it can break it if the drill bit is too sharp.

You want some at the front at the top of the box..... Then half the number of holes on the other side at the bottom... Thats the proper way to ventilate a rack :o)
