Default what wood for a viv stack

im after a wood that is relatively cheap, looks good, is strong because its going to be a viv stack and it needs to cope with humidity for a few years. what wood would you suggest for me to use and have you got a rough for "X" size?

thanks very much

Default Melamine sealed with silicon

Honestly, melamine sealed all over with silicone does the trick. Some companies are even offering two year guarantees with their vivs as long as they are sealed.

check out:

www.vivexotic.co.uk they've got a page all about sealing vivs I'm sure
