Just a recommendation for an online store for rep equipment/supplies/livefood. I placed an order with reptilekeeping.co.uk for equipment and livefood late on Monday. My order was received this morning, despite yesterday's postal strike!
So really quick delivery, good prices (and no post charges for orders over £55), paypal accepted, and all the locusts I ordered are very healthy without a single casualty. Very impressed and would recommend you look at their website. Fi

oh I have used them several times,to buy a vivarium and live food,very impressed with service,a great reliable site,although sometimes difficult to search for on google,I dont know why

I totally agree with the Op of this thread, Reptilekeeping are a great online shop. I ordered the bits I needed for my sons viv over the last weekend, I got an email on Monday to say they had been dispatched and yesterday (Tuesday) at 10am there was a knock at my door from a postvan guy with a box containing all the bits I'd ordered. Thats what I call quick delivery. I would definitely Reptilekeeping to anyone that needed to buy reptile stuff.

Sorry but I disagree as I have had a very bad experience with them. I ordered a viv nearly 3 weeks ago, it came a few days later damaged. Paul asked me to send pics of the damage to him which I did. He said that he would get a replacement sorted and that it would arrive a few days later, I waited in all day but no viv, and the next day, again no viv, the next day.. thats right, still no viv.
Eventually he contacted me to inform me that the replacement viv was again damaged in transit and that the courier failed to inform him of this. I said I wasnt willing to chance the next one coming damaged as well, as you can imagine, I wasnt very pleased that I had to stay in 3 days in a row waiting for the replacement viv that never came as well. I asked for a refund, correspondance was very slow for the most part, I would email and not get a reply until the next day or I wouldnt get a response so would email him again then pm him on here, then I would get an email back so would email him back and have to wait sometimes the same day, sometimes the next day or sometimes 3 days without a reply. I was told that he thought that he refunded my card but there has been no such refund processed, that was 3 days ago. I have emailed him 2/3 times since to let him know that no refund has been applied to my card and that there are no transactions pending, I havent had a reply from him in 3 days and now have no money until monday as Im still waiting for a refund that I should have received long ago. No courier has been to collect the viv, a few emails ago he said that someone had been round to collect it, I had been in all day waiting so know that no one came to collect. I think that was actually the 4th day I stayed in waiting for a courier to come. All in all it has been a very bad experience and therefor could never recommend anyone to use this site. Ive had a damaged viv in my front room for coming on 3 weeks now with no refund and no offer of compensation. Will let you know if it gets resolved, I will have to take things further if it doesnt get sorted by tuesday as it will have been 3 weeks to the day since I took delivery of the viv. Regards Danny |
