Hi everyone,
I am stacking my vivs, which are heated with Ceramics. The problem i face is how i am going to insulate them so the heat from the bottom viv does not over heat the floor of the one on the top. Currently i have some rather thick (1+ inch) polystyrene sheeting. between them and this works perfectly but looks unsightly and is breaks away on the corners and makes a mess. So, what do you use? any pics? Thanks.

I use individual dimmer stats for each layer so that they are adjusted to their own temps including any moving up from lower vivs works well that way and probably easier than trying to insulate against the heat rising.

Glass tealight candel holders,
About half an inch thick and very sturdy if you look around. Tesco do quite nice ones, so do Asda. About 25p each, so 6 (each corner plus support in the middle) is cheap compared. Also looks really good if you backlight behind your vivs with colour change bulb |
