Default Metal Hilide or MVB? Info Needed

Just completed a 4x4x2 viv for my beardie and am looking into getting MBV or MH lighiting to reduce the need for UVB tubes.

Question is how high and what wattage should I put the Bulb at to ensure correct operation without damaging my beardie?

The viv will have multiple levels but still be open so light from the roof can hit the floor.

theres nothing in it ATM so the bulb can go anywhere togive him the best.

Brand new to these bulbs so All info much obliged guys

Would I be right in thinking that the best MVBs are these?Mega Ray I've heard a lot of hype on the web about them- you should try looking them up- I certainly am.

Funny thing is ive been told the exact opposite, that the powersun loose intensity pretty quickley where as the mega ray keep it for alot longer.

anyone got any real life comparisons that dont need £10,00 woth of equiptment as several endanged species in a small zoo to work out lol

Not that I want to start an argument here as you undoubtedly have more experience in this area than me, but almost every single article on the web points to the fact that Mega Ray are the longest lasting, most reliable, highest output and safest MVBs on the market. Apart from anything else, I would rather trust a hand made bulb made in Canada than a mass-produced one from China- but that's just my opinion.
