Question Silicon Sealant - Help Please!

I am picking up my new cham this afternoon, and I know that the viv hasn't been sealed at the joins. Is there a silicon sealant that is really quick drying and doesn't stink? The reason being, I haven't got another viv to put him in whilst it dries and the smell disappears! I may be able to house him in a large cage for a day max. if I need to. When I sealed Amy's viv before I got her I used the aquarium sealant from Pets at Home and it stank for days! Any suggestions?

Chameleons are perfect - they don't make any mess, smell or noise, don't leave fur on the carpet and don't need walking!

Hi - this may be too late, but you could try Geocel Decorators caulk (Screwfix sell it) it is far less smelly in use than most of the other sealants and when dry is waterproof. It takes about 1 hour to become touch dry, and is fully dried after 24 hours. You will need a cartridge gun for it if you don't already have one

I use wood glue to seal all of my edges on the inside of the vivs.

Unlike silicone sealant it sets hard and does not come loose / tear away a couple of years down the line.
