second hand dimming termostat

hey, could somone answer my question about dimming termostat, i got one second hand on ebay, just test it is it work , and it work perfectly!! im happy cause i pay 20q when in shop i seen same one for 50q( this one have still price tag 59.38q)

but when it dimming a light it make buzzing noise is it normal for those thermostats to make buzzing noise?

yeah very quiet buzzing noise, so if you mark b have same noise then its all right

The buzzing is normal for a dimming thermostat, It is to do with the way the power is controlled to the lamp (duty cycle) and is just the power being switched on and off very rapidly.
