Question Can someone please help me get detailed info on these...

Zoo Med Powersun UV lamps 100watts and 160watts, who uses them?

All I can find is the small details that's on the box but what I want to know is the scientific stuff and how best to benefit from them and use them best.

Thanks to all in advance

I have tried them for my torts, but they get too hot as you cannot control them with a thermostat. They would be ok for a large enclosure where you could position the bulb further away.

i use them and have done for years but i've recently been told mega rays are better, but couldn't say what they're like as i haven't used them yet. there is a site that tells you all about the different uv lights you can get, i'll try to find it but hopefully someone else can give you the link. i think fixx will know.
