It doesn't actually matter where you put the sensor, as long as you use a thermometer to set the actual ideal temps in the right area
![]() I put mine central personally, but others put them at the hot ends or the cool, just dont rely on the dial markings as anywhere near accurate, cause they aint

Why do you use a ceramic? Do you use it during the day? Because Beardies need bright white light, as well as the light UVB tubes put out. It is much better to use a basking bulb for a BD, because they associate it with heat.

ah i didn't know what it was for, i used a ceramic with my beardies along with two spot bulbs(i had 3females and a male), the ceramics were set at the nightime temp, the spots brought the daytime temps up spot on ![]()
