Hey, i have just got an Exo Terra Heat Mat (Rainforest) For my crestie viv as the house is too cold at room temperature. The instructions are telling me i have to stick it to the underside of the viv but if i do this i wont be able o move it to the bigger viv when my crestie is big enough... is it okay to leave the sticky side covering plastic on and just place it under the viv so i can move it eventually?

when i used a mat years ago i put mine on base of viv then tape down edges with electrical tape so tape edge is half on mat then half on base of viv , then cover with substrate electrical tape is heat and water resistent but you can peel it up after easy try it atb daz
