Default Heat Mat Placement

Hey, i have just got an Exo Terra Heat Mat (Rainforest) For my crestie viv as the house is too cold at room temperature. The instructions are telling me i have to stick it to the underside of the viv but if i do this i wont be able o move it to the bigger viv when my crestie is big enough... is it okay to leave the sticky side covering plastic on and just place it under the viv so i can move it eventually?

You might find responses are slow because people tend to stick to the section for the animals they keep rather than looking in the other sections. Posts often seem to go unanswered here. The only heat mats I've used haven't had any thing to stick them down with so unfortunately I can't really comment. If no one else comes along in this section, maybe repost in the appropriate animal section?

this is fine mate as long as its a glass viv as the rainforest mat's heat wont be high enough for wooden viv's but otherwise a good idea if its a temp viv
