Default electrical help please

hi guys sorry i mean the uv starter (my bad) ha , i dunno how to get the 2 sockets of the starter into the viv without goin through the vents ?? anyyone xx

from what ive found thats the easiest way is to cut the top parts of the vents off and put the ends through there .

You could get some of these. I've got some to go in my BD's new viv. You can pop them out, put the cable through the purpose hole, then pop them back in. No need to dismantle anything then.

the viv is not a new one its in good nik its just that it had a screw fitting for a uv (repti glow ) which is technically for an exo terra. so i am tryin to wire a uv strip into there but it only has a huge rectangle vent on one side , so really goin through a vent isnt an option ?? its a tuffy

some starter units have screw terminals inside .
if you undo the casing & have a look at where the cables come in theres a possibility its got screw connections .
if , it may be soldered on , in which case (& if theres enough space inside ) you can cut the outgoing leads , thread them from the inside of the viv to the back ,
put them back in the box & use connector blocks to re-connect them
