Default Wood treatment

Hi All,

Does anyone have any advice on what i could use to treat some wood in my new vivs to help keep the humidity high and protect the wood without being toxic?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Barry

Depends really on the type of wood the vivs been made out of?
Cheers,
Mark.

I would use yacht varnish. However it takes an extremely long time to dry/cure. It will need airing for a good few weeks.

Go to your local DIY shop and ask for a "Polyurethane" varnish.

That way it doesn't matter what he gives you, it will be safe.
