Default Lights

Just wondering what people do about lighting when keeping snakes (that don't need basking bulbs). What I'm getting at is I want to be able to see into a viv! How do people light up theirs?!

Tubes would work, or just a low wattage normal bulb. I think the tubes look better personally.

You'd need a Starter Unit of relevant size: Arcadia Plugged Controller (Starter) - 7 Sizes - £20.98 : Reptile Supply Hut!, The online pet shop for all your Reptile Supplies

and then a tube for it (this one is very low UV, but you may want a tube without any UV at all): Zoo Med ReptiSun 2.0 Fluorescent - 5 Sizes - £13.97 : Reptile Supply Hut!, The online pet shop for all your Reptile Supplies

Could i use a normal tube (like from b&Q), in an arcadia starter unit?
