Default Introducing my 2 new ferrets .. =)

Not great pics but this is..

& Missy =) (she nips alot lol)


& this is them both together in bed lol ..


1 question .. ive read that SOME people put collars on their ferrets, i was just wondering if 2 or not 2 help me tell them apart?

very nice ferret in deed i never put collers on mine except when we take them for a walk.

Very cute! Collars wont stay on ferrets for very long, its amazing but they can usually wriggle right through em, also you couldnt leave them on when they are in the cage in case it got caught on something. You could maybe try harnesses but only when they are out to play, not full time.

I have two that I used to have trouble telling apart, I have three sisters (and a fourth one) and two have very similar facial markings, size and shape of face so I cut a little patch of hair on ones tail shorter...seems mean lol but she didnt mind and it helps in telling them apart, although they have since grown quite different and one has a much paler undercoat. As time goes on you will learn to tell them apart.

ohh ok then, when they've had their jabs il buy them a harness & take them for walks =) ive seen some pretty 1s for them, 1s pink and 1s leopard print lol

What cuties, dont worry about collars to tell them apart, within days you'll have noticed their own little personalities and soon know at a glance which is which.

awww bino's! I named a kit Missy cos she was a nipper too!

cutting the hair on one works well at telling them apart, or ive marked them with a highlighter pen before and thats worked too.

they have kibble 24/7
and boiled egg OR chick once a week
tuna, mince, liver, heart etc... everyday

and kept in a 2tear rabbit hutch =D
