Default Opossums - updates

We have changed the cages for our Virginian Opossums. Here are the pictures of Patrick's move and a few more of O, as she has had a refurb.

We normally weigh both Patrick and O weekly, however, it is proving to be quite difficult at the moment. They will not sit still for long enough. We will be getting some better scales shortly and will be posting their new weights as soon as possible.

We will be taking them to the vets shortly, there is noting wrong with either of them but we want to ensure that all is fine before we plan the breeding. Hopefully it will be in January 2010.

Sorry for the long post.

Thank you for your time and interest in our babies.

Could you not put O in a carry case to weigh her & then deduct the weight of the case to see how heavy she is? Thats what I do with the skunks. I use a digital fishing scales to do this as it has a hook on that the handle of the case can go over.
