I have a question though In regards to the picture of you(i assume anyway lol) and a monkey at the beach...are you not afraid theyll run away? I didnt know they got that tame Very cute, I love their ears

lol! yes its me. its a special case really, as I hand reared him he thinks i'm mum, so when we're in a place thats unfamiliar to him he stays on me. as it happens, that is right outside my house anyway! any other marms take a long time to warm up to us ppl, and your honoured if they sit on you for even a second!

You're so lucky Ive never been particularly interested in keeping primates (apart from ring tailed lemurs but theyre a completely different kettle of fish ) but it must be fab to be able to interact with them on a daily basis.

yeah, i love him like he's my son. i had no intention of ever owning primates either, but when i had to hand rear him i couldn't bare the thought of him ending up with someone dressing him ppl clothes or keeping him on a lead, so i kept him. i even got him a wife, a lovely parent reared marm who now will come and sit on me (when it suits her). they are very demanding though, like children who will never learn or grow up really, except 50 million times faster and who come flying through the air when they want attention and lacerate your face with their razor sharp claws!
