The vet may need to do a swab and culture on the wounds to determine if any infection has set in. Skunks do not have the cleanest mouths in the world and bites from them tend to go septic. I should imagine a course of antibiotics will be necessary to clear up the infection.

if they are bite woulds, just a trip to the vet for anti biotics should do the trick.. but careful its not ring worm =) coz in the picture it looks quite round.. again the vet can tell you this better than us. =)

also do you know what kind of back ground she had as it could be anxiety disorder i have done quite a bit of research in to this and the main symptom is self mutilation so if you think this could be the prob pm me as i have all the details on symptoms treatment etc
