Default Skunks: Is it really out of reach?

They say skunks don't climb very well......this is Blossom proving she is an exception to that rule. She has one foot on the back of the chair and the other on the side of the fridge.
We had confiscated her carabinas and ropes but this does not seem to have deterred her at all.

Hi Fixx,

I'd have been panicking. Proves the point they can get get into anything though and should always be watched.
Need to feed her more though, she looks like she is starving. The poor thing going is desperate for some food.

How is the Skunk ( Pepe ? ) you rescued. Is he coming along.

Best Wishes

Neil

Moose also climbs very well. She climbs onto the bed and them on to the top of the hedgehog cage so she can get on the shelf

We are used to Blossom being a little madam so this was no surprise really, although chair has now been moved.

Pepe is doing really well, we have FINALLY got him onto a healthy diet and no more nasty cottage cheese. He is alot healthier looks wise, much whiter, still a little yellow on the neck but other than that much better, no more "sniffles" and hes actually coming out more as well, he no longer lunges at us its just the warning arse view now which is also good news. We introduced Maple to the room as shes quite a little "diva" and thought she might do him some good, seems to have worked as he follows her about the room alot and he watches us pick her up and put her down so we are hoping through this he will learn we are not going to do anything he doesnt like. He wil always be a "wild" skunk we think but hes now managable rather than completely unapproachable.

They are great. We are getting them both used to the house now.

On the last occasion we were scented by Jethro. This was our first time . Below is the link to the thread if you haven't seen it and are interested.

Oh yes the house did smell, on its last legs now . Glad it has happened in a way, needed to know.
Jethro will be coming again over the next day or two. . Not looking forward to a direct scenting though but again, it will happen one day.
