Default My new baby!

This is Misty, my lovely 13 week old Chinchilla. Shes my first chinnie and is absolutely great!
Shes never really been timid, always wanting to run about you sniffing and chewing whatever she can, and as soon as she figured out where the door to her cage was, she decided she wants out every time its open.
I think shes affy bonny and a lovely new addition to my fuzzie family!
Theyre not fantastic pics as she wouldnt stay still, Might have better luck in the daytime huh? lol

Yeah she absolutely loves it! Gets all excited when she sees me getting it ready. lol
Theyre soooo cute rolling around in the sand.
Although i feel bad just having the one. She was living with her 2 sisters but they were retained for showing so could ony get her.

She is gorgeous, we have two chins too, they are so friendly.

Why do you not enquire about a rescue to go with her, either another female or a neutered male.

We bought 2 chins as two males, but one turned out to be a female, we nothiced when we got home. Sadly she died, she was always quiet. So we got another little girl, who our male did not like at first, he was being territorial. But although in the books it says it could take up to three weeks or longer to introduce them, ours were together and happy within 3 days. Not sure if we were just lucky or what

Thats a good idea actually! Ill wait til shes a bit bigger and try and find a rescue for her to be freinds with. Although she is very friendly i think she'd be happier with company of her own kind, as most animals are really!
