What should i do :s
on my way back from a reptile shop i found a dead owl witha tag on its leg and should i report it to the nature conservation i brought it home with me so that it wouldnt get eaten

i went ont eh website on the tagg and reported it to them will ring natural england aswell

with a BTO ring you can report it on their website. The RSPCA don't record things like that. You will be requsted to keept he ring but you can dispose of the body. Once you hav reported uit the BTO will send you a letter out with some info on the bird, its age , where it was rung etc. Have had a couple of BTO rung Barns in recently. Its intersting to find out where they have come from.

ok ive herd owls around my area alot because i live 1 min away from forests and farmland, should i bury the bird or what?

have you heard from the website, is there a number you can try ringing to se what to do, if you want to get rid id take the ring off it first though incase they need to track anything down.

Couldn't see a contact number on there only a web contact form on which you can tell them you have found a bird and tell them if it is dead or alive etc
