Default Skunks: whats the best flooring?

ok seeing the thread about he demolition skunk it got me thinking - what is the best flooring to keep skunks on for cleaniless and longevity?

I have already been warned they pull up carpet in corners scratching and digging.

Do they damage lino in the same way? I assume so.
Also do they rip up laminate flooring as it got all the grooves in it to get there claws in?

Any one kept them on polished concrete floors that have been sealed? And if so if its the usual 6inch deep anyone had any hassles?

well i thought proper wooden floor boards probably bad idea due to pee etc soaking in - an if varnished if they chew it could be toxic.

wonder how much the sealed floors like hospitals and schools have would cost - am thinking about the flooring for my new chin unit i am having built in case it needs to be multi purpose

My lino was ok till they found a corner not stuck down or sealed enough & now it has tears in it.......

I had gone of it anyway, so they have possibly done me a favour - I wonder if I can claim on insurance as I could for doggie damage?

My lounge carpet so far has been left pretty much alone though.......only 1 small patch got scratched but without too much damage.

I guess the "wet flooring" like hospitals etc use would be pretty tough.......

I imagine tiling would be okay, like the floor kitchen tiles properly fitted as they are really strong, and have also heard wood is good. But then i have heard alot of skunks will never scratch at the carpets if they are kept really clean and food isnt spilled on them etc.
