Never heard of them before. I'm sat here with two babies ratties running round my neck so thought I would look them up.
OOOHHH they're a tad cute aren't they ![]() Are they as tamable as normal ratties? Got any photos I love the eye marking.

Yes - they are tameable - all four of mine are very tame now. Some strains of these beasties have been found to be nippy, but this may be due to two very similar sub-species being bought into the coutry - one is more fiesty than the other! Have a look at the Acacia Mania website - it's full of fantastic information on these guys! I think that these rays make amazing pets - they are intelligent, active and so fantastic to watch, interactive, and very attractive little animals. Heather. |
