Default Funny odd couple

Check out these two. Who would have thought that they would be the best of friends and never more then a foot from each other. They sleep, eat and play together lol.

I always thought that that grouping could work... Very sweet! What species of wallaby are those?

Thanks for the comments They are bennetts. they should be out playing in the field really but the mother hurt her leg and the male was harassing her as she couldn't get away so we thought it would be kinder on her to bring them into one of the sheds.

I always find it wonderful to see such odd pairings - nature is a strange but marvelous thing for sure

I love the way the bunny appears to be acting like a Meerkat on look out while the Wobbly is eating.

I envy you so much having Wobblys, its been one animal I have always wanted to live with since a very young child

Yup... I will have wallabies one day... Been a dream critter since I first got hooked on marsupials through sugar gliders as a kid (I started saving for my first glider when I was about 8ish).

nice wallabies just a word of warning though ive seen mara and other small animals being crushed by wallabies falling on them when they are in full stride... never seen rabbits with wallabies but would think they are know different.
btw the wallabies look great how many do you have?
