There are a few shops who sell skunks & other exotic pets but most will come via private breeders or animal brokers. Many get advertised on here & other websites.

Skunks might be cute but according to most owners they are also a serious handful!
You will get them in some shops, but mostly you would go to a private breeder for that sort of thing, far cheaper than shops and then you know where the animal really is coming from. |

I'd personally go to a private breeder. Try meeting up with someone who has a skunk. They are a handful and you have to be a patient person but they are very rewarding.

I would second the handful thing. They know their own mind and if you do something they don't like they'll tell you about it. Bear in mind that they haven't been in captivity for that long relatively, and so are not far removed from a wild animal.
Think of toddlers, in your house, on their own, with tools.

Skunks can be so much fun but do require alot of time and effort.
The best way is to buy one from a private breeder , skunks and many other animals sold in shops , don't get the needed attention they require and can become less pet-like than you would want. Being caged for days, weeks or even months without being handled by humans won't do any good for any pet's behavior. If taken care for; skunks can adjust pretty well and you can end up with a very loveable new house mate.
