Am I right in thinking that bathing will make the smell worse? As with most animals, it strips the natural oils off the coat (which is what gives them the scent in the first place) and causes the pores to go into "defence mode" and put on a thicker layer? Ignore me if I'm talking tosh.

I've read that but with Ferris it certainly helps him smell better.

My castrated, descented boy doesn't smell at all. However he is a total pain in the bum this week, think its cos I've been ill he's been pestering me constantly. He's just knocked the other half's drink over too

Wouldn't want to be without him though. Little sod.
