Default who has the biggest APH?

just been doing some regular maintenance and i decided to weigh my hogs. all of my females weigh in between 350-450g........and then i have Desiderata the superhog! she is a massive 650g and isnt even fat . she can curl into a ball fine and is just a BIG girl. my last male hog, Mort, was just 220g and was a little pocket rocket, the ladies loved him!

so how big are your hogs?

We used to have one that was only slightly smaller than a British hedgehog, but sold him. Hogzilla, we called him. He was our one's son, but there was only one baby in the litter, so he grew and grew and grew!!

I have an albino female who weighs in at 550g-600g...she isnt fat either and quite healthy. When she was pregnant earlier this year she weighed 756g just before she gave birth to her 3 hoglets!! Her babies are following in her footsteps too...

I have a male who at last weigh in was about 650g though I wouldn't be surprised if he's bigger now Ironically he was the smallest in the litter but I fell in love and kept him anyway.

I bet that was hilarious - his poor mother!! She probably struggled to produce enough milk for the greedy .

I wish we'd weighed him before we sold him!!

They're still pygmy compared to our native hedgehogs, who often weigh over 1kg. Most APH don't reach the minimum hibernation weight of our native hedgehogs (approx 600g).

Anyway I weighed my boy to see how much he is. The answer is... 733g as of today. I also tried to take a photo but he was more interested in following me around and playing as usual so this is the best I could get:
