Default APH Housing

I am looking inot getting a APH in about 6 months once I have read and research a little more into it. In my experience of keeping exotic pets books quite often get it so wrong when it comes to housing animals. Can anyone one give me advice on the best housing for APH's.

We try not to use the indoor rabbit cages that have bars on the side, as they can try and climb them and either fall and damage them selves, or get stuck and strangle themselves.

You can use vivs, however alot of extra ventilation should be added, to provide a good airflow.

You can use the zoozone cages, as these are plastic sides and wire tops, they apparently work very well.

Some people use the wooden rabbit hutches, which seem to do the trick as well

i use vivs with mesh doors instead of glass and they work brilliantly.
you should join the pygmyhogsuk forum, its full of really friendly breeders and keepers who have years and years of experience.
its full of great info and theres a coupe of topics purely on housing examples
