Default another "passenger" thread :(

We have just found a flea near Atuki raccoons house. The cats and dogs are up to date with their frontline so i assume it came in with one of them but cant live on them.

Anything i can use for a raccoon babba!?

Oh no.. another flea thread. I am itching even more !! Unfortunately I dont have any experience with racoons, but I am sure someone will come along soon and give you advice. Best of luck in ridding the unwanted beings from your 'coons house x

bad news is they can live on them just as well as cats and dogs if not better as there fur is thicker they seem to withstand the sprays that can be used. If yours is tame it willn't be any harder to treat than dogs/cats but need do the whole house otherwise they will take over

ideally they should be treated before you got them home as vets can give flea and tick stuff for young raccoons as they would dogs/cats then kept upto date like the dogs, hope this helps

we treated the house just 3 weeks ago, along with the cats and dogs due to a kitten we rehomed being infested. The house seems ok, and i cant *see* an evidence of fleas but i have found a few around his house.

Awesome, and you use it as a preventative on a regular basis? i have a cat frontline left so i will check see if there is any restrictions on age and get him treated ( he is 9 weeks old)
