Which Roach

Hey

I keep various mantids and a sling atm. I have been using small/hatchling crickets but it is definatly getting tiring and people say you can use roaches. So here I am. Lets use roaches!

What roach is best to use? People use Lobster I see, but how easy is it to get the small new borns to feed my bugs? Is there a smaller species I can use?

Preferably sized 2mm to 5mm required atm

The problem with roaches is they can climb nearly all surfaces and are pretty fast if you lose one. I'm happier using locusts.

Only lobster roaches can climb and they're easy to keep contained. Dubia roaches cant climb but are more expensive. It's easy to get a colony going
