Default storage and feeding

how do you feed and keep alive crix and mealworms etc?

i will be feeding these to my cham when i get one but dont know how to store thier food so it stays alive

I keep both of mine on bran and oats and then feed them veg, keeps them alive longer and is good for your rep too. You can keep mealworms in the fridge, it slows them down and stops them turning into beetles

what kind of temprature do crix need to be kept at.. as for the fridge thats a no go... my dad isnt into that idea at all and untill i get my own house then i have to live by his rules

can i keep them in a sealed container?

I keep my crickets at room temp in a storage box with some fine netting over the top so they can't escape. You can keep the mealworms in the tubs they come in, no need for a lid as they can't climb, or just put them in a small food storage tub. If they start to pupate you could always breed them

okay just checking I was told mealies die too, I know fridging crix before feeding slows them down too great for scweamish people like moi
