where can i buy medium to breed fruit flies?

The title says it all, I want to make my own cultures for my toads . =)
anywhere I can buy medium for feeding/egg laying?

Its easy to make your own.

I use:

1 box ready brek (750g)
Same amount of potato flake
1/2 - 3/4 bag caster sugar
2-3 tablespoons of yeast

Mix with water in the cultures as you make them.

this amount lasts me around 4 months

It can be even simpler than above

I use instant mashed potato mixed with water and add a bit of yeast

You can also use banana with a bit of yeast instead which could be simpler for you

i have tried many methods of breeding fruitflies thru the years, with most being smelly and unreliable.
However this method is very productive and produces hardly any smell to speak of

i use potato flakes table spoon of sugar and tiny pinch of yeast..thats all u need. mix it up untill its a McDonald's milk shake consistence..then leave it for 24hours as the suger and yeast reacts...if u put the flies in before that they will die because to much carbon dioxide wil be produced..wait 24hours befoe adding the flies..before i put the flies in i put a green scowering pad in there..this gives somewhere for the maggots to turn to casters
