Default Brown crickets are black?

I ordered some more small-medium brown crickets which arrived today however they look black but with brown showing through. I would try and get some pics however but my camera needs charging.

I know they're not black crickets due to the shape etc.

Its probably just the lighting making them look black, when you see pics on the website they are usually on a white screen or in a flash so look brown but in a tub they will black, if that makes sense.
