Default Breeding waxworms...do they need warmth?

Does anyone know if breeding waxworms needs some sort of heat source? I don't want to kill them all either way!! I have set it all up and put them in the container...I just dont know whether to give them a heat mat or just leave them at room temp?

Plus, do they need any fruit or water supply?

I have about 5 lots set up and put them either on a heat mat or inside a viv at the cool end, drives the lizards nuts when the waxies get to a size they can see.

I've never put anything other than honey and weetabix type crumb in with mine just open the lid every now and then to let some fresh air in and leave em to it.
