They are also canibalistic- larvae tend to eat any pupae in the same container. Separate big larvae one each into film cannisters or any similer small containers, and you'll get some adults.
EDIT: It's also a good idea to feed the worms well first: fruit, vegetables, dry cat food or fish flakes. |

I use Reptile Forums UK - REDDEV1L's Album: Tanks etc - Picture to get mine to change. Only because I had the box lying round full of old useless stuff.
Some ppl use old film canisters or yoghurt pots I seem to have mastered this bit (Only had 3 out of 50ish die during pupation) but i'm yet to see any fruits of my labour...I've got eggs, just no baby morios yet. |

Thanks a lot for the advice guys. U know them boxes u get for pills and medicine things, like a Tupperware with loads of small seperated bits, il grab one of them and seperate them out, maybe if I have any luck I might have a stab at breeding. I once bred mealies but found it a lot more trouble than it's worth since they are so cheap to buy. Still it's fun to do (if u are sad and have no life like me) lol.

We had a polybox as a laying box for our beardie once and the morios used to escape from their disk and bury into the polystyrene to pupate, then she would eat the bugs lol we had loads! So you could always try some sort of polystyrene inside plastic tubs. We couldnt stop them doing it we ended up taking it out!

I use the component trays that the 99p screw sets come in from B&Q. Seems to be working so far. 8 have started pupating so far.
