Default I know this is a bit lame, BUT Woohoo Babies!

My 1st breeding success!

I have a ton of baby Dubia's running around this morning in their tub!

I am really excited!

I was just as excited when my Dubias first exploded too.
Just got 2000 Turkistan roaches delivered this morning so looking forward to seeing the first babies from them too (never had these roaches before).

I had thousands of Dubia when I had my colony, I kept them bone dry. Each colony to their own I guess

I keep mine dry too, I find getting them going is more to do with heat than anything.

Hmm maybe I should keep them dryer then.

I just noticed a rejected / abandoned egg sac so thought it was not humid enough.

The egg sac (ootheca) you found once produced is then retained by the female in a special pouch. About a month later the eggs hatch, and the female appears to give birth to live young - like this
