Default Moving Colonies?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to check - ive heard from a couple of people if you move a colony from 1 box to another, that they will take a couple of months to settle in and breed.

Is this true? if it is, is there a way to lessen the effect?

I am considering moving to a larger box in a month or so, but dont want to completely disrupt the breeding.

The other option i am considering - is to just remove all of the babies born from now on and put them in the bigger box, so that way the current colony wont grow too big for the container, and the babies can have 3 months to settle in before they are meant to breed (or be fed to my beardies if they are excess males.....)

When I move them to additional tub, I just set the second tub up exactly the same as the tub they are currently in, they never seem to have a settling in period as they dont really notice a change (even if the tub is bigger/smaller).
