a few questions about baby mice. how long before they open eyes and start moving about and also how long should i leave them before cleaning them out as they stink but dont want mum to hurt them if i go in changing and moving things

Depending on the line you're breeding from mice usually open their eyes between day 10 (show line) and day 15, usually with pet type mice day 13-14. Don't clean them out for the first week after the babies are born and then when you do, scoop out most of the bedding and leave the nest as is to retain the mousey smell on the babies. You will need to add more new bedding of course but the smell is still there to the mouse's nose though you won't really smell much yourself.
