rats in rubs

i bought some 32l rubs for my rats but am having a few condensation issues.obviously there is lots of drilled air-holes but would it be better to replace a side/section with wire,if so how is that best achieved? as a result until i can get these problems solved ive rehoused my 2 new girls in a borrowed cage.but i wanted to do a rack type thing for my rats using tubs.the only thing i can think that may be causing it is that they are currently housed in my utility room which is pretty cold.any suggestions would be great thanks as i cant /wont get more breeder rats until i can sort this out ,thanks

Try something like this. There's a step by step guide at www.woodlandmousery.com;

build a wooden frame slightly bigger than the rub,so the mesh sits on the rub base,
bottle then can go throu the top,
