Got the small ones (0.5 - 1.2 cm).. just wondering if these are alright for an 8 week old beardie? If not I can always feed these to my older two.
I'm quite scared of them, this is the first time I have ordered these (or ever seen a cockroach in my life) so I'm just wondering what to expect. -Can they escape? -There will be approx. 50 of them.. what do I feed them? I have koi fish food and dry cat food I heard this is ok? -Are they alright to feed to my baby? -Are they fast (sad I know but I am s*** scared of things like this lol) -Am I alright to keep them in the tub they come in? -Do they need any humidity? -If I find a dead one do I scrap the lot? I read through the guide at the top and though I'd ask these questions. Oh I ordered off Welcome to The Roach Shop .. are these alright to deal with? Thanks ![]() |

The small roaches will be find for your younger beardie as long as you remember the rule about the size between the eyes, they cant really escape unless in something silly like a shoebox, if you keep them in a plastic tub or rub then they will be fine Fish food and dry cat food is fine but some fresh veg is important to gutload them, the baby will be fine with the really little baby roaches, try starting a coloney its fairly easy but you might have to wait until you get enough to breed and keep in good supply they dont really need humidity and it doesnt matter if you have them in a dark place (i hear they like this) if you find a dead one then no dont scrap the lot, just remove the deceased and things will be fine hope this helps

lol yeah mums can be like that! once she realises they cant escape and cant breed in her house she will come around,
i also forgot to mention bout the humidty thing, they need water and you can either spray the tub every other day (just a quick spray) or leave water crystals in there which you can buy from numerous places
