Default Gut loading

Hi, I was wondering if it was possible to gut load mice for snakes the same as you would meal worms for lizards or is it even worth doing? Also what do people gut load there meal worms with for leopard gecko's? at the moment I'm using oatmeal and dried carrot peel. Is there anything better i could be using? Thanks

I was wondering about the mice, could you add Calcium to their food so they then have good strong bones which would then be passed onto the snakes when they eat them? As for Gut Loading Mealies i was told to use porridge oats, veg & Dog Biscuits. I got a bag of porridge oats from Farmfoods for 49p so will use these.
