Default Rats in unheated shed

Will rats breed during the colder months in an unheated shed?

I presume so, Aslong as they are not near drafts and have plenty of bedding.

dunno on rats, but I know mice will be more likely to have problems giving birth when it's cold. They'll still mate though.

Our mice have significantly lower birth rates during the winter, and are in an unheated shed... I don't know if it's directly because of the cold or just the time of year but it happens every year throughout the winter.

Keep my rats inside so couldn't comment on those.
