Default Feeders Without Heat .......

Which feeders/roaches can be kept/bred without light/heat?

I have a garage and want to utilise some of the space with large collony boxes but have no electricity in there so am limited as to what i can start up - any ideas/sugestions?

How hot is your garage anyway? if its too cold then you'l just end up with alot of hibernating bugs =P

I think any of them will be alright for the next few months but after that you are going to need heat mats.
mealworms would breed ok with out much heat but you probably wouldn't want them.

They'll probably just slow down over winter, so if you had enough of a colony built up by then to see you through will be ok. I have had B. dubia reproducing in temperatures around 10'C albeit far slower than at higher temperatures.

If your garage gets as cold as my garage does over winter nothing will survive
