Exclamation Butternut squash

I've been feeding my BD butternut squash since we've had him which he loves, but today when I microwaved it for a few seconds to soften it up a bit, I had a full on lightnig show going on and a few peices where absolutley frazzeled like i'd put metal in there!

Anyone experienced the same or know why this happened?

hmmm maybe your microwave is broken or you have metal in there. Squash doesnt contain metal!

No, micro working fine, did my tea in it just after micro light show (wife is away so I'm reduced to reheated leftovers )

No metal in the micro, it was in a small plastic bowl, nothing else. I even thought it might be the label that was on the squash, but i cut the outside skin off before nuking it.:<3:

I'm baffled. Put a splt of water in with it tonight and no probs. Just wanna those things i guess

Why did you put butternut squash in the microwave anyway?

It needs to be fed raw to a bearded dragon!
