I gave it a half assed attempt with the right setup and i saw lots of breeding but they'd all died off and no eggs were layed... would be good if you can get it going but i think its a large scale operation to break even on all the food they get through, space and time spent cleaning etc.

I've got 50 adults in a tank i my shed with heat lights and a mat for night time, seen plenty of mating and loads of evidence of eggs laying, i have two pots of soil hopefully with eggs incubating atm, time will tell.

Its not hard, i just put them in a tank with a reflector bulb pointing down or heat/light, egg boxes and a few pots of soil to lay eggs in, feed them greens and a whole bag will last a week, so it costs about £1 a week to feed them

I dont think these eggs will do anything so i'm going to try and just leave them in the tank with the adults instead of moving them to a seperate one.

Hmm, I think I might give it a go.....but like peolpe have said, its very easy to end up giving them to your hungry lizard before they do anything! Do the eggs look like cricket eggs? And can you distinguish between male and female adults?
Thanks for the replies everyone!

Not the same but I am breeding dubia roaches and it's been easy so far, few dog biscuits and apple each day and they are happily breeding away, can't wait to start feeding them to Harry!
